Anyway, do not lose your self consciousness, stand up and raise your opinion. We will be there to help.

Ok, for now we say bye-bye 2002 and if you want to experience New Years Eve in New York City, click on the link below (too bad you cannot blow it up, huw?).

Make sure you wear the right shirt. | 12.12.2002

For everybody who thought there's a free speach in the "land of the free" - far from it.

According to activedayton.com, Secret Service agents questioned a kid wearing a shirt saying: "Not my Fucking President" at Bellbrook High School (Ohio). According to the Assistant Principal, the student had worn it before and the shirt didn't cause any problems until cross hairs appeared on the President's forehead.
The shirt was originally designed by Fat Mike from Nofx/FatWreck for their political campaign @ PunkVoter.com.

Happy fuckin birthday Mr. Thurmond | 05.12.2002

Today, the oldest US Senator and confessing racist Strom Thurmond celebrates his 100th birthday.

It seems as if Mr. Thurmond is an integral part of Washington - he has ever been there, once he had arrived in DC 50 years back in time. Sad but true, he neither was a grand speaker nor a political visionary - but a racist and doting in his old days, that is what he surely is.
When president Truman wanted to give the Afro-Americans more rights, Thurmond left the Democratic Party in 1948 and came up with a splinter group of the radical Southern Democrats called "Dixiecrats" who were openly against a "blending of races" and letting "Niggers participate in every day life".
Also, Thurmond became famous with his 24h Fillibuster-speach (1957) in front of Parliament to blockade the new civil liberty law by reading out the Bill of Rights over and over again.
Bottom line is: thank you for still being with us. You really enlightened us over the past decades.

And now fuck off.

Mo-TV to be on air, soon | 04.12.2002

As one of the first record labels, Motor Records, a subdivision of Universal-Records will start its own TV show.

With this ridiculous move, Motor especially tries to give their lately picked up Vagrant Germany band rooster more exposure (The Get Up Kids etc.). The show will be aired on German NBC Giga starting Dec. 13th and will be broadcasted fortnightly.
As it seems, at least Motor/Universal do not seem to participants of the oh-so suffering industrial sector called the music business. For every one of you who is not familiar with NBC Giga - it is an internet show for kids and young adults featuring everything that is hip: on- and offline. Poor, really.
