 Long time Rancid bassist was recently diagnosed with Cancer
The Warped Tour pre-party was held Wednesday at the House of Blues in Hollywood, California. It consisted of press inquiries and musical performances. Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman announced during the Warped Tour press conference that long time Rarncid bassist, Matt Freeman was diagnosed with lung cancer. Sources have said that the detection was early. The Transplants (Tim Armstrong/Travis Barker/Rob Aston) were scheduled to play a surprise set at the Warped Tour pre-party but cancelled when they heard the news. We send our best wishes to Matt Freeman and hope for a speedy recovery.
